The Zoom Player software that is found at the Inmatrix.com site is developed by Inmatrix LTD and is promoted as the Swiss army knife of media players. Computer users that like to play MKV, HDMOV and VCD files may be intrigued in installing the Zoom Player media player. The Zoom Player program is similar to Express Player and the Viralix Video and can help you play DTS, AVI, OGM, TTA, OGG and AC3 files. However, Inmatrix LTD works with advertisers to make sure that the Zoom Player program remains free-to-use, and you may notice a browser plug-in attached to your Internet client that may be used to show promotional offers and handle online TV streaming. Therefore, the Zoom Player application is perceived as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may not fulfill the expectations of many users. The Zoom Player software is built on top of the MPlayer open-source project and may handle most video formats without issues.
The main selling point of the Zoom Player is its stability, and you may play high-quality audio content easily. Unfortunately, the advertisers associated with Inmatrix LTD may interrupt the video and audio playback of Zoom Player with commercial offers and promotions. Many users that like to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of their movies may not like the behavior of the Zoom Player media player. You may try to limit the Internet access to the Zoom Player software, but that may not yield results because it may make modifications to your Windows Registry to restore its functionality automatically. The advertisers that support the Zoom Player software may have access to information such as your recent online searches, browsing history, and pages you like on Facebook and Instagram to generate tailor-suited ads. You may wish to uninstall all components of the Zoom Player application and use a trusted anti-malware tool to delete residual data.
